A current work in progress

Hello, all!

I've had this really crazy idea. Lately, I've been pretty obsessive about 2 things, Sailor Moon and Pink Floyd. So I thought of something insane. Some may hate me for it, some may love this incredibly weird creature... It is just a sketch, so I apologize for the raw nature of it.

SAILOR DARK SIDE OF THE MOON!!!! I made her to look a lot like Pluto and Saturn, because I think Dark Side would have a very distant attitude, not to mention an affinity for sound, since I am basing it on an album where there's quite the variety in different sounds. I think one of her attacks has to be based on the green pulse line thing, and others, of course, on songs or even just lyrics. I can work something out. I also just HAPPEN to have taken Japanese classes for the past 2 years...SO I can work out writing the attacks in Katakana :D I'll update this post once I make progress. Hehe. GET IT? PROGRESS. PROGRESSIVE ROCK *snorting laugh*

**UPDATE**

Now here's her with a very flat look, which I plan to remedy to. I like having this flat look at first so I can have a good idea. There is, however a problem with my tablet, so I can't adjust it so it works with pressure, which makes me sad. I can with hope remedy to this eventually, but got now I'll have to deal with the way it looks. Besides, this won't be the first Sailor Dark Side of the Moon. I plan on having an army of Senshi based on Pink Floyd albums. Dark Side being seemingly one of the more famous ones, I started on that one. 

I was trying to stay away from a too Saturn-y colour scheme...I think this works. See you at the next update! (I'll post a different entry when I get to the end of this ^^)

Shaded in the skin...I know, I'm not very good at this. Shut up >< NYAH. I'm practising. I'll get better eventually, then look back on this with shame. But to my taste, I thought it looked good.

Hallo everyone! Short post!

I haven't ever been really good at making at making plushies. But I fixed a cute little monkey plush with a tux and then I wanted to make some!

Stumbleupon...Oh, what you've done to me!

So like any self-respecting university student with lots of assignments and essays and exams...I love to waste time. Therefore, STUMBLEUPON.

I haven't got any big projects started yet, so what I'll do is show you stuff I freakin' adore. Not going to lie, I was a goth in high school...and I hid this passion I had for fashion and girly things throughout. Well, now the internet shall know! I need to get it out! Without further ado, let me start geeking out on clothes!!!!

OH! And if you know who made these dresses, I'd be more than happy to post it here! I know some of the websites have sources to who made them, but if you or a friend want their names on here, no problem!

Ok, dresses for realsies:

Oh my gosh...yes....YES. YES!!!!!.

I want this dress so badly...This is a Christian Dior dress, and it's in A FREAKIN' MUSEUM (Metropolitan Museum of Art). I wish I could wear it! I just adore the gorgeous waist, and the way it flows, the length, it is a true piece of ART. I found this here, and I squealed when I saw it. Just...wow. WOOOW.

I can only hope that someday, I might be able to sew such a masterpiece...

I love Smosh. And if you're ever been on their website...well...you know about the Smosh Pit. It's just all sorts of awesome in there. A while back...they had this list up. I think it's pretty clear by now that I freakin' adore dresses. More than is probably healthy.

Personally, and the good ladies of Vanier Hall will agree with me, I think someone here at my university (maybe me...) should make this for our ABC+C party...(anything but clothes and cups party for those who don't know)

This dress can pretty nearly pass as a Sweet Lolita dress, which is already awesome as it is, BUT ADDING GIR MAKES IT INFINITELY BETTER!!!

GOSH. Especially the Midna one! Like, I love it! The best part is that if you want to look like a character but aren't a fan of cosplay, you have this little subtle way of doing it! I personally LOVE cosplaying, Halloween is my favorite holiday. But it isn't for every day, so this is a great alternative.

They even post links (heheh...) to where you can get the items (bwahahaha XD) of clothing!

Ain't nothing like gettin' yourself a new tunic...

Hallo, world!

My name is Ariane and I am a student! I study Psychology.

BUT... this blog won't be exclusively about that of course. You've probably guessed by the title that it will be pretty artsy. WELL IT'S TRUE. I draw and I sew. Other hobbies include: movies, music, video games, Stumble Upon and being a moron to make my friends laugh. 

So mostly I will talk about what I made, post some crazy comics, post other people's arts that interest me somehow (full credit and links to your stuff will be provided I promise!), post ideas for projects, tutorials, and a lot more stuffs.

In concordance with my previous hobbies, I'll also post about that stuff but probably less often.
